UiPath started in 2005 as a 10-people team based in Bucharest, led by Daniel Dines. In the beginning, they outsourced automation libraries and software to some of the world’s biggest companies.
Fast-forward to 2015. They launched free courses for UiPath Academy and started teaching RPA to over 35,000 now certified developers, propelling their rocketship growth.
UiPath is a robotic process automation tool for large-scale end-to-end automation. For an accelerated business change, it provides solutions for businesses to automate routine office activities. It uses a variety of methods to transform tedious tasks into automated processes.

UiPath is the only one RPA tool that delivers both the attended and unattended automation in the enterprise RPA system. An attended software robot can run on your PC, and you can decide when to begin it. An unattended automation enables automation on the remote system even out of sight on a timed schedule.
UiPath has mainly three components: UiPath Studio, UiPath Orchestrator, and UiPath Robot, along with the database servers and the browser components. UiPath Studio is a GUI based dashboard used to create automation workflow for the tasks to be automated.
